Fellow Aiken '71 Alums:

We’re just about 90 days from our November 6 reunion, which begins when Centennial Barn opens at 7 p.m. for conversation, refreshments, and, well, reuniting. Over the evening we will enjoy fellowship, refreshments, buffet dinner, introduction of attending class officers and teachers, and a remembrance of those who have passed before us.

And music. How many class reunions boast live music from a band that features some classmates?

Along with Like Minds, you’ll hear hits from our high school years, chosen by Reunion attendees, on a playlist that will be available to all for years to come.

We’ve sold 68 tickets, and the goal is to sell 50 more tickets in the next 50 days. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, now’s the time to buy tickets! When we reach 101 total tickets sold, we will draw a name at random from all of the purchasers since day one and refund the winner’s ticket price, thanks to an anonymous gift.

We have located about 140 living alums of our 400+ graduates. Including those who have gone before us, we can account for about half of the class. Our search will continue, right up to the end. If you know where someone is, please let us know ...

Check is preferred, by the way, since it saves us the processing fee. Cost is $60 per person, and includes old (well, let’s call them “long-time”) friends, live music, catered dinner, cash bar and a whole lot of memories. Centennial Barn, our Reunion venue, is a charming, spacious, and versatile event venue accommodating up to 300 guests and includes indoor and outdoor spaces. The historic brick barn was constructed in 1899.  Its unique aesthetic offers a rustic, yet elegant, two-story venue with an open atrium.
