Blast #18 Reunion News of Special Interest to Out of Town Guests

Dear Fellow Alum, especially the 51 who live outside of Ohio.....

For your convenience, if you are looking for a place to stay before or after the reunion, we have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Hyatt Place Cincinnati-Sharonville, 11345 Chester Road, right off I-75 and less than seven miles from the Centennial Barn reunion venue. The Aiken 50th Anniversary Reunion Room Block Rate is $97.00 for a King and $97.00 for a Queen/Queen, plus tax. This rate includes breakfast, parking, and internet.

To reserve your room at the preferred rate:

1. Cut and paste the entire link below into your web browser, or click here, for reservations. Please ensure the last four characters (AIKE) are included in the link. Guests should input their travel dates into the site and proceed with their reservation.

2. You can also call Hyatt's reservations line: 1-800-341-3207 and ask for the Aiken 50th Class Reunion Room Block.

The block is available first-come, first-served and availability expires when full or on October 21, 2021.

Remember, tickets can be purchased on the reunion website, where you can pay by check (using mailing instructions provided at checkout) or by credit card. Check is preferred, by the way, since it saves us the processing fee. Cost is $60 per person, and includes old friends, live music, catered dinner and cash bar. If you have any trouble ordering, give website administrator Keith Brown a call for friendly assistance! 513-602-5544.

For the latest news, classmate profiles, or to buy tickets on-line, visit the reunion webpage, https://www.classcreator.com/Cincinnati-Ohio-Aiken-1971/class_index.cfm.

And don't forget our 50/50/50 Challenge: To celebrate our 50th year anniversary, we are hoping to sell 50 more tickets by September 24th. When we reach selling 101 total tickets, we will draw a ticket from all tickets sold and refund the purchase price to the lucky winner!
